This manga is about Naruto, a boy who has the nine tailed fox spirit in him and everyone  doesn't like him because he has the fox tail in him he also has no family. He has a dream of becoming hokage, the village's strongest ninja. He has a lot of determination and works hard. He has friends alongside him like Sakura, Kakashi and Sasuke, who also determine to be great ninja.  

In this volume Tsunade one of the Three great shinobi, has to face her old comrade Orochimaru who killed the third hokage. Orochimaru’ hands have been cursed by the third hokage's seal and only Tsunade can heal them.  Naruto is on a hunt with Jiraya to find Tsunade before she decides to heal his arms or leave so he won’t cause any more trouble. Who will she choose Orochimaru or Naruto? 

Masashi Kishimoto  is a  great author.  The dialogue is real, the characters are awesome because they tell the story also the illustrations are beautifully drawn and the story is interesting because it puts the characters in  situation's that it’s so hard to put the book down like when Naruto fights Tsunade and it shows great determination and perserverance. These are the theme’s of this story.  

I thought the book was really good there was because it had a lot of everything. it had a good storyline and fights and great ninja action. If you like ninja action, great stories, and great characters then this series is for you. It’s so amazing it’s like the book of the year
